Ford Focus RS Unveiled Does 0 to 60mph in 5.9 Seconds
Debuted at the British Auto Show a couple of months ago, the new Ford Focus RS has officially made it to production. With a sporty exterior that features a black grille, some sporty hood vents, a rear spoiler and diffuser, a dual exhaust, 19-inch wheels and Recaro wheels, the RS looks pretty mean. And it is mean. Under the hood there’s a five-cylinder 2.5l turbocharged engine that sports 296hp and gets the car from still to 60mph in just 5.9 seconds. Top speed is 155mph (electronically topped) but should easily reach 160 mph if the limiter would be removed. As for the price, in UK they’re expecting it to sell for a bit below £25,000 (some $30,000).

Este automovel é algo de interessante, mas o melhor de tudo é que a Ford investiu nos carros memenores porem com performance dos carros de muitos cilindros. Os motores 2.5 turbo, que poderiam ser biturbo. Parece, pelas informações que tenho lido, que foi muito melhorado este motor que só alcansava a velocidade final de 205 km/h, uma velocidade bem fraquinha pro motor 2.5 turbinado. Eu creio que este carro poderia dispensar as listras, ter mais cromados (rodas, maçanetas de portas, grades etc)pois aí atenderia ao gosto de diversas idades que querem ter um carro rápido, confortável, com gasto de combustivo relativo ao que oferece e que não seja enorme. Poria tambem alguns realses internos de madeira, fica muito elegante, assim como ofereceria diversas cores com perfeita pintura, bem polida e brilhante (carro com pinturas perfeitas brilantes e espelhadas são lindos) e até pinturas metálicas bem brilhantes.Uma tração nas 4 rodas (estabilidade) com sertesa poria o ford Focus st e rs entre os melhores Gti da europa e do mundo.
