2011 BMW X3 Prototype with Camouflage

Since it’s release in 2003, BMW X3 only got a facelift in 2006. Nothing new for the last two years, but there are sources saying that we’ll get to see a new version in 2011. And we also got our dirty hands on a few pictures of it, how cool is that?
Not sure if that’s very accurate but I suppose 4-5 years is the average time to wait for a new design on the same car model.
We can clearly see that the curves haven’t changed as much as we would expect. A new grille and lights are the things that jump into our eyes. On the inside we will likely see the 335i’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter petrol engine as well as the 204-hp 2.0-litre turbodiesel. Some voices in my head also tell me that there will be a hybrid version, but that is to be seen.
