Cadillac CTS-V

It was formerly the general consensus that the addition of a SpeedModel to the lineup of Flying Spurs would be of immense excitement to the commission of Sedan fans. Who wouldn’t be excited by a 600bhp saloon which can reach a weltering speed of 200 MPH, while hitting 60 MPH in 4.5 seconds? Apparently, we were wrong, because Cadillac’s news revealed the 2009 CTS-V, rated at 556 horsepower, and the ability to hit 60 MPH in 3.5 seconds, even running the quarter mile in a flat 12 seconds.

The Bentley is still pretty darn good, displaying substantial excitement for a Monday.

A recent Straightline Blog reported the Sport Sedan’s 6.2L V8 quality, with the ability to produce 556 horsepower at an rpm of 6,100. This LSA engine is derived from that of the Corvette ZR1, detuned for high duty in the CTS-V. Though it experienced substantial detuning, the LSA should still destroy that of its German competition.
