Speculation: Tata or Mahindra to buy the HUMMER

With the war against emissions and environmentalists criticizing big trucks with low mpg consumption, GM decided to stop producing the Hummer. However, rest assured because rumors are tsaying that either Tata or Mahindra would probably take over, but none of them cared to comment.
I don’t know for sure if that’s a good investment because Hummer is already a bleeding brand and cars like the Chevrolet Volt or hybrids are really getting market share over here, not to mention the high gas prices one would have to pay. It’s true that if you can afford a Hummer you’ll most likely afford to pay twice as much as you’re paying right now for a full tank, so we’d better keep an eye coz we might see Indian Hummers soon!

I’m sure someone will buy Hummer anyways, what with the price of oil skyrocketing, there’ll be no market for vehicles like the Hummer unless they are produced cheaply.

I have to agree with Sadie, what the point of buying such a big car that is going to go through gallons of petrol, and the price of petrol that keeps going up, one would only buy a car like that if you had your own oil plant and petrol was a problem!!!!

HUMMERS are amazing vehicles and GM is making a big mistake loosing the brand they invested BILLIONS in to make theres! With the H3 and sood H4, MPG’S were better than most other SUV’s on the road so perhapse they should cut Tahoe and other SUV’s as well and loose all there truck market wow seems smart doesnt it. . .
