The larger Chevy Camaro powered with a thundering V8 powerplant churning out at least 30% more horses than the Bimmer was still no match for the rookie driver’s M3. This clip provides further evidence that in the world of hot pursuit, lighter is better and handling counts more than horsepower.
To bad the cops need to make up stories that the M3 is supercharged… lol, no it wasn’t.
The car didn’t break down, it’s common knowledge in the states that the kid got away but they picked him up later at home after he returned the car to his father 
If u watch carefully the supposed scene when the car breaks down is actually a previous part of the clip when the kid is going to do a u-turn over the middle island
